The Bible clearly says about what is your role in this world. After you are Born- again you are in this world but you are not of this world you are joint heir with JESUS CHRIST. 

God told Joshua to meditate on the WORD day and night. You should be always in touch with the word of the GOD.

Defining LOVE by what it does or does not do?

Bible says in 1 Corinthians 13:4-8:
